David Rush

David Rush has had plays produced at Stage Left, Chicago Dramatists, George Street Playhouse, Delaware Theater Company, Mark Taper Forum, GeVa Theater, Chicago Jewish Theater and others. His awards include Jeff Awards, Los Angeles DramaLogue, Midwest Emmys. He has been featured writer at Great Plains Theater Conference, Dayton Future Fest, Phoenix Theater New Play Festival, Inge Festival and has won numerous contests. He has published several textbooks on playwriting and dramatic theory and is now retired from Southern Illinois University, where he was head of the playwriting program. He is represented in New York by the Robert Freedman Dramatic Agency
