Fundraising Book Fair

Mirage Theatre Company is pleased to announce Barnes & Noble’s Fundraising Book Fair. A portion of proceeds from the Book Fair will benefit Mirage Theatre Company, a non-profit arts organization and its plans to present Distant Survivors, a Holocaust themed play, for performances in New York City.

Invitation to Book Fair Event in Ploughkeepsie

Please join us for refreshments and performances –  for those in the Mid-Hudson Valley, Mirage will be hosting a very special in-person Book Fair event at the Barnes & Noble Poughkeepsie location (2518 South Rd) from 1- 5 PM on April 14th.

Book Fair Performance Programme

• Excerpts from Distant Survivors will be performed at the event featuring Linda Roper and Chuck Muckle.
• A musical performance will follow by Bard & Benedict with Robert Bard, on stand-up bass and guitar, and Amy Benedict, on flute and melodica, share their whimsical explorations up and down the scale; waltzing and swinging through tangoes, reels and beyond.
• Vassar College students will be lending their talents to this event with music, theatre, comedy, and poetry performances: Lily Moriarty: Claire Furtwangler; Ella Xiao; Hallie Carton; Bianca Barragan; Evelyn Frick; Eliana Rich; Elizabeth Johnson; Lindsay Irwin; and Benita J Rosalind.
